Hermana Romeril starring in "The Princess Diaries" ~ unedited version

SO hmm where to start. This week was great!

We have an investigator that's really our teacher but her investigator name is Ana Maria! This week we were teaching her the plan of Salvation and yesterday we were teaching her the 3 reigns of glory and she told us that she has a friend who has cancer and  has like 2 weeks to live and she asked us what is going to happen to him after he dies? She said “”We believe in our Catholic church that he goes to hell or heaven and I don't know that he's clean enough to make it to heaven.” So we talked to her about when people die if they haven't had the opportunity to hear the gospel in this life, there is missionary work going on on the other side and if her wants to accept it then he can and receive the necessary ordinances to become a member. And then I felt a really strong impression to tell her that she is one of Heavenly Father's elect daughters and that se has such a significant, important part in this life and that she never has to feel alone. She has Heavenly Father and her family who love her so much and who will always be there for her, especially heavenly father. Needless to say, the spirit was really strong and it was a good uplifting moment.

Also, last night my district had a discussion about just a lot of things...our stories and how we got out on the field and what we thought about being here and it was so cool to see why everyone was here. You know, this whole time I've been joking about Elder *and how he's so different and a sweet spirit, but mom I remember you told me growing up that everyone has a story and everyone is who they are because of things that have happened in their lives. Elder * is really tough sometimes, for example this week I was teaching him a one on one lesson and while I was mid sentence he just fell asleep...while I was teaching him and it was a little bit frustrating, but I said a quick prayer to help me to have love toward him and I closed my prayer and all of the sudden I wasn't annoyed at him, the whole situation made me want to help him out even more so than before. Although  I don't agree with some of his choices that he makes, it's important that I show him the pure love of Christ. The kind that doesn't let him fall and the kind who lets him feel loved and supported. He is somebody's son, big brother and grandson and they love him, and I know that you guys would want people to treat me right so it's important that I do the same.

Also, yesterday I'm sorry to admit but I hadn't washed my hair for THREE DAYS while it was naturally curly and I washed it last night and for real, it was in so many knots and I couldn't get them out so Hermana Tu'akalau was like, Rome (Rome-ay) get over here let me get those out. So I went over there and legitly I felt like my scalp was being ripped off! She was brushing it so hard and I felt like I was that girl in Princess Diaries when they were transforming her hair from a fro to presentable...needless to say my head is still throbbing. Gotta love Hermana toots. oh ya that's what we call her. And she made a gangsta name for me K-LOAK. (life of a krip) so uh ya it's cool.. I'm basically a gangster you could say.

On Wednesday my district hosted the new greenies! And I saw my friend Camry Bennion from EFY when I went with Rachel! :) I was SO excited and I haven't talked to her forever but it was so fun to see a familiar face in this unfamiliar place! Also, Hermana T leaves us in a week on Monday..ugh I'm so sad. She's so great and she has an amazing story as well. She's so strong and dedicated and I am so proud of her for being here. She truly changes lives and she's struggled with her Spanish but she's recently just come out of her shell and when she talks in the lesson, she really listens to the spirit and she knows what the investigators need and I am learning so much from her. For example, Hermano Wallace, one of our teachers, told each companionship to go in different rooms and teach a lesson one to our companions and Hermana T asked how my day was and she asked what was bothering me and that was the day I was really missing family and I just told her what I was thinking and she gave me  the best advice. She stopped and made pauses to let the spirit tell her what she should say and honestly, she told me exactly what I needed to hear and she is so amazing I so wish you all could meet her. And Hermana Woolley is great too! We have the best times together and wanna know something cool?!? We all fart!! We're all so gross together it's great. Our room smells disgusting at night. But that's okay because we are all gross together. :) After we poop we tell each other how big it is too (this is Kelby’s mother and if I knew how to -- I would insert an EMBARRASSED emoticon!—I didn’t raise her to talk potty talk!!!)...also when Hermana T goes poop she says "I'm going to bless the bathroom with my love." or "I'm going to go drop my kids off at the pool" Holy Gina she kills me!

This week I took a Spanish test online where the computer gave me 8 prompts and I responded to them and my teacher gave me my results and the evaluators told me that my Spanish is surprisingly good for how long I’ve been in the mtc and they said I don't say my Rs quite right...dad I say an actual R like a gringa instead of saying it more like a D...woops :)

On Tuesday Quintin L Cook spoke at the devotional!!! GAH! :) He made some great points like...I am my first convert. I must be converted to Christ fully before I am able to convert others to Christ and that it's so important that investigators become converted to Christ, not to the missionaries. We teach everybody...the rich, the poor, everyone because no matter the social standing, we are all children of God and he loves us so much and wants everyone to come unto him. He doesn't care if someone drives a Porsche or someone who doesn't have a car at all. To him, we're all equally divine and amazing. I watched the ugly duckling Mormon message this week by Uchtdorf and it really opened my eyes. It's important to realize our divinity and potential as God sees.

This week all in all was wonderful and I love reading scriptures. I read them both in English and Spanish and it's so fun to try to figure out what in the world I'm reading in Spanish and it's fun to write down my impressions along the side of my scriptures. I love you all and thank you so much for your support. I couldn't do this without you.

I wrote a letter to you about how my asthma is so you'll get that soon. But I’m dong so much better!!!!

Dad Happy Father's Day!! I hope you get my card soon and I hope you know how much I love you. I'm trrying to figure out how to send this recording but if it doesn't send, know that I spoke some good Spanish in that thing and you would probably be surprised ;)

Mitch how was the trek? I want to hear all about it!!! :)

So cool btw about Dana having a baby! She'll be such a fun great mommy :)

I love you all and I can't wait for next Saturday:) :)

You're all in my heart.

This Mission Isn't About Me...

Hola familia!! Como estan??

Okay first off, thank you SOOO so much for the Argentina ring! I seriously love it so much it is beautiful and so pretty and omgosh I'm in love with it. I never take it off, seriously though. And Dad, thank you so much for the letter!! I wrote you back and I’m going to send it off right after I finish this email business :) Mitchell I wrote you too so be prepared for a letter this week:) Mom I'm in the process of writing you a letter about stuff I probably won't have time to write about in this email so watch for that as well:) I'll hit the main points of everything in this letter though!!! Try to at least? :)

Okay second, I got a package from the Ellsworths, I loved it!! They sent me 2 scarves and swedish fish that my whole district super enjoyed! :) Funny thing...so Lori Park, Jeff's mom, September's aunt, Cindy's sister, Sherri's sister, put something in the package and it was a scarf that is so beautiful and some money and she put on the envelope, from your future mother in law, Jeff's mom, Jeff Park's mom. It made me laugh so hard!! Oh my heck it was great and so so nice I appreciated dit so much. I also got a package from the Dunn's! Well it was cupcakes from Cocoa Bean and the Elders and hermanas in my district super enjoyed them!! I didn't tell you about this either, Bart and Kami and Connor sent me a package!! Connor sent me that I love Kosovo shirt and then a beautiful necklace with my name on it and then Bart and Kami wrote me a letter and sent swedish fish. Holy Gina I love them! :) I have definitely been feeling the love out here and I am so grateful for everyone's love and support. I seriously couldn't do this mission without knowing how many people I have supporting me!! Grandma and Grandpa Finklea have written me and it was so nice. Cousin Tanner's written me and we've written a few times back and forth!

Okay so this week has been so great!! Funny story actually. Yesterday in our night class that goes from 5:15 to 9:00, we were all doing some deep personal stuff, reflecting on our lives and what not and Elder *, bends down to go get something off the floor and totally FARTS in the pure silence and he immediately pops up and we all look at each other and then started busting up! I couldn't even take him seriously for the next 20 minutes oh my heck.

I have never felt the pure love of Christ more than I have while I've been here on my mission. Things that would normally bother me or things I would normally be grumpy about aren't even second thoughts to me. When I look at people I just can feel the love that God has for them and it makes me love them and I can feel how much Heavenly Father loves both of my companions and he loves me and I love both of my companions so much. We're like the unstoppable trio and we're powerful together gosh dangit!! But in all seriousness, this mission isn't about me. It's not about trying to gain benefits for my life or for my selfish purposes. It's to bring people closer to Christ and to help them feel of the love that their Padre Celestial has for them. In these lessons I've been teaching to investigators, I've felt love for every one of them even though I know barely anything about them. I look at them and I see that they are so special to HF y JesuCristo and because of that love and that divinity they all have, it's so important that I treat them with so much love and respect and that I really try to bring them closer to the thing that could bring them so much happiness in their lives.

Also, y'all should read Enos 1 I can't remember which verses but read it and let me know what you think about it next week. :) I read it in my personal study on Thursday and I fell in love with it.

Also Also also, thank you for your prayers and love everyone. I really was able to feel it this week and I know that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and the desires of our hearts and I am so grateful for each one of you in my life.

In one of our lessons this week with Samuel, Hermana Woolley was tring to ask him what his expectations were for this lesson and instead she said, "Que es sus expiaciones por esta leccion?' (What are you atonements for this lesson?) Samuel had the most confused look on his face then we all started laughing so hard. Oh boy. I love Hermana Woolley. I love both of my companions!! :) They are so great and fun and loving and patient and Spanish is coming along quite well actually. Basically I'm almost fluent. Okay not really but in my dreams I am.

Mom you asked about the elders in my district! They are all so so nice! They're all like our brothers and they watch out for us with everything. We're like a big family :) I already mentioned who has been writing me family wise, but as long as I have you guys I am pretty solid :) and happy :) and content:) but I love all the other support too. It really brightens my days. Elder ** is still a super sweet spirit...hahaha. He cussed at Elder Giliam because he thought he wasn't taking a spiritual moment seriously. We were like, homie say WHA!!?

OH! MY! GOSH! I haven't told you the spider story. This week we had a huge spider in our bathroom actually it was inside of my shoe when I went to go put it on omgosh I was seriously dying and all of us are so scared of spiders! And I made my companions kill it and it took like seriously 45 minutes to kill it because we were so scared and kept psyching ourselves out. What was I doing when they were killing the spider you might wonder? Definitely recording them with my camera because Hermana Tu'akalau was so scare standing on the table and she was omgosh so funn like seriously we were crying...mostly because we were scared and also because we were laughing so hard. I'll try to send you some of the videos holy gina they are so funny. So ya, I'm still not over my fear of spiders....and either are my companions. we were SO SCARED - just in case you didn't catch my drift the first time ;)

Lo Ciento familia for worrying you with my health but I am so happy and improving so much and I hope you guys feel that I'm okay because now is the perfect time to get sick! A real trial of my faith, but I'm coming out of it feeling stronger than eva :) Also, I pray for you guys every night and morning. I Love you guys so much. so much.

Also mom you wondered why I might be losing weight! Probably because I eat at normal times of the day and the stuff here at the West campus is portion controlled and what not and honestly I'm just so busy that I don't think about food because Im so busy. I feel like that was a fat kid confession. I will do great things. ;)

I'm taking steroids for asthma! My normal inhaler then 2 other medications that are steroids. it's better :) :) :) :) im really good at volleyball now because my steroids make me strong :) So that's good right? How is everything going  in Hemet?! :) I miss you all so so much and I love you and you're in my thoughts everyday! :) :) :)

Much love and amor,

Hermana Romeril

ps, until next week :) Can't wait

"My Mysterious White Medicine Bag"

Hola family:)
First, let me get down to the nitty-gritty..probably not how you spell that! So yes mom I went to the doctor yesterday evening because my asthma got super bad and I had a high fever and so my companions made me go to the doctor. So when I got there the doctor was like, oh it's just a cold then he asked me, wait do you have asthma? As he was hearing my back and my chest with his doctor thing and then he was hearing my breathing and as he's using his doctor tool, he goes "oh no.." and then it freaked me out so apparently there's some kind of infection from my asthma and he gave me an inhaler and then 2 other antibiotics and they're steroids...so let's just say I felt like a super druggy when I was walking back to the campus with my steroids in my mysterious white medicine bag they gave me. I have another appointment on Monday at 8:20 to follow up and he said if it's still as bad as it was then I'll be admitted to the emergency room. He had me take a breathing test that went to 1,000 but I barely got to 200 so I mega failed. I didn't have a fever this morning before the temple and I think it's because Heavenly Father blessed me so I would be able to go because as soon as I got back it shot back up to 101.6. This is probably really scaring you but don't let it because I'm in the Lord's hands! And he has my back :) And so do my companions haha they won't let me do anything physical. Basically I slept for 11 hours last night and woke up in the middle of the night sweating so bad there was like a pool of sweat. tmi sorry. But if I get sent to the emergency room then you'll probably be notified, so all is well :)

Okay!!! My week! Our investigator, Ana Maria was here on Wednesday..not it was Thursday and we were giving her a lesson and after we all taught her she comes out to say bye to us, then walks back in as hermana Martinez and she is our other teacher!!!! Basically I was so stoked. I feel like I already love and know her. She only speaks Spanish and she speaks a little English that she's learning at BYU. Her English is like our Spanish to say the least. But she is so great I feel so blessed to have her as our teacher. She is such a blessing and brings the strongest spirit wherever she goes.

Also, Last Sunday my disctrict went to a devotional and Elder Bednar gave a talk that waas called, The Character of Christ and you should all look it up because there are so many things in there that can apply to everyone. Some of the things that were in there were getting over yourself. This mission isn't about me and I can't be telling myself "I want I want I want" or, "yo quiero, yo quiero, yo quiero". My mission is about serving Him and bringing others closer to Christ. My desire or my purpose for my mission can't be to benefit myself, because nothing will happen if that's my motive. If I work hard to bring others unto Christ, and if I focus on the spirit then the blessings will be given to me as I go. Also, you should all read Ether 3:4-6. When you read this think about the following: "If you pray and sit and wait, you'll be sitting for a long time". You need to ACT! That's key. If you don't act and if you expect the blesssings to just come without you putting forth effort, you'll be there waiting for the blessings for a long long time. Also in Bednar's talk he talked a lot about when everyone turns inward to focus on themselves, Christ turns outward to help other people. When Christ just finished suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, his 3 apostles, Peter, James and John, fell asleep while he was out there suffering for all of our sins! After that they were walking and Christ was about to be crucified while some mean guards came and were being way rude and Peter cut off one of the guard's ears. In my head, I'm like, You show em who's boss Peter! But in that moment Jesus Christ took a moment and healed the guard's ear...when they were about to kill Him. Pretty cool huh? I would have been like, you deserved it mean guard but JC always turns outward in service and love and Charity and I want to be that kind of missionary! But like I said earlier, it takes me doing something about it.

So basically Hermano Hammond, one of our teachers, is the best and he said this during the week and I loved it: "If you're feeling discouraged during your mission, you're thinking about yourself". Which is really true. There have been 2 times this week that I've been super homesick and one day I went in the bathroom and cried a little bit and I said a prayer and immediately after that I just realized that everything is so okay. I have a family and friends and an awesome support group in my life with whom I feel so much love and support from everyday. By the way I showed everyone my family in my district beacause we were all doing that one day and Hermana Tu'akalau says, you are a spitting image of your mom Hermana Rome!! And also she called me her barbie doll because she says I am so girly. She said that in her cool New Zealand accent might I add.

Oh oh oh before I forget, okay Elder * is really a sweet spirit but he falls asleep seriously all the time. One day this week we were practicing teaching lessons to eachother and Elder Giliam and Elder Evans were teaching him...mid lesson Elder * falls asleep and they asked him a question and he didn't even wake up!! And then he woke up and listened for about 5 seconds then went to sleep again while the Elders were asking him another question. Oh my gosh he kills me.

Then there's Elder Royster, basically he's a boy version of me and one day he was talking about elder Anderson's spanish and he says a=in a valley boy accent (he does the acccent to try and make fun of me) and he goes, "he was speaking super fast, and super illegibly" hahaha. We were like..illegibly is for writing? and Also, we were in the middle of a lesson and we looked at a page that combined 'a' and 'el' into 'al' (mom, ask dad he'll know what I'm talkin  about" and Elder Royster goes, "'A' plus 'el' equals 'al'? I didn't know spanish had math in it too!! Haha. too funny. And one day the elders took my camera on one of their nature walks and took a bunch of selfies. They didn't bring cameras so the pictures I send to you I'm sending to their mother's as well per their mom's request.

Oh something else kinda cool that I got to do. There were 2 teachers that wanted to do a mock lesson for my district and wanted me to be the investigator and the lesson was almost an hour and a half. Let's just say my brain felt overloaded with all of their fast-paced spanish! But I got done and Elder Evans and Elder Royster told me "Hermana, you did so well. I couldn't follow along and I understood about 18% of their Spanish"  So it made me feel good and honestly the Spirit makes up so much of the lack of spanish I have. But I am learning and all will be well.

My companionship had a lesson for real yesterday, but the people are workers pretending to be investigators. It was...hard. Their names are Hely and Jose and they are married and super cute together. We taught them about spanish and what not and they asked if we would teach them again this coming Wednesday! Cool ya?

Being on a routine here at the MTC has helped me to be a more focused person all around and the lack of sleeping in until 9:30 doesn't even bother me anymore. Every morning we wake up at 6:15 to say companionship prayer then personal prayer then we get ready until 6:55 and then we go to breakfast until 7:30. After that we have personal study until 8:30 where we read scriptures or study Spanish and then we go have companionship study until 9:30 where we plan lessons and memorize things like Joseph Smith's vision and our missionary purpose all in Spanish. from 9:30 to 10:30 we have language stydy which we do with our whole district and then from 10:30 to 11:40 we have gym time where we cando cardio or play basketball or volleyball and stuff like that which I love. It wakes me up. After that we have lunch at 12 until 12:45 where we eat...haha I guess what you would normally think would go down during lunch. And then we have spanish class from 1-4:30 and then dinner until 5:15 and then class until 9:00! Then we sing a song and pray as a district and go home and get ready for the next day and start all over!! It's really fun I love it :)

OH! Elder Nelson gave a devotional on Tuesday!! I Was in the same room as him...oh my gosh so so so so ooooo cool and I'm in choir so I was on TV for all of the other Mtc's so holla :)

I'm running out of time and I want to send pictures, so I'll finish answering other questions in a letter yes? I love you all!! OH! Mom thank you so much for the package. My whole district loved it and we had a lot of fun with it :)) thank you thank you.

PLus also, keep the Dear Elders coming!!! I love reading your letters and hearing about your lives, makes me happy:)

Yo se que la iglesia de JesuCristo es verdad y yo se que missionary work es de Dios y el Evangelio trae mucho felizes a todos las personas. Okay until next week. I love you all:)

"The Lost District"

Hola mi familia! Como estan? Well, my first few days at the MTC have been wonderful! I love it here. I love my district and I love my companeras! Yes, I have 2 companions:) Hermana Woolley y Hermana Tu'Uakalau! Mom! Hermana Woolley is the sister that I was friends with before my mission! And remember Hermana Morris? She's in the same apartment as me!! so, there are 5 of us in our Residence Hall :) Me and my companions, Hermana Morris y Hermana Pukahi. Hermana Morris is from CA, Hermana Pukahi is from Hawaii, Hermana Woolley is from Orem and Hermana Tu'uakalau is from New Zealand :) I love them and it's great because when it's tim eto sit down and learn Spanish or study the gospel, we do that but we also have so much fun other times. I live in the West Campus of the MTC and now all of the Spanish speaking missionaries live in the West campus and do everything there (eat, study, gym) so it's fun to walk around and say Hola como esta? to every missionary you see. Hmm let's see I have all of my Spanish lessons with my district and we spend basically all day together. My district is my 2 companions,, Elder Royster, Elder Anderson, Elder Evans and Eder Giliam. We're all going to Argentina, minus Hermana Tu'uakalu! She's going to Texas. Yesterday we gave our firt lesson in Spanish to an Hermana called Anna Maria. My companeras y yo were so so terrified I think we said 3 prayers before we went in to teach her. The name of our church is so hard to say in Spanish. So so long and we practiced it for a good 25 minutes before our whole district got it down. It's amazing how much the Spirit guided us in the lesson yesterday. The words just come to you and you find ways to say things in Spanish that you wouldn't be able to come up with on your own. Amazing. Also, the spirit is so strong everywhere you go - even during gym time. Everyday we have gym from 10:40 to 11:30 and Hermana Morris WORKS us. I am so sore right now. We do workouts on the elliptical, we don't have tredmills in the West campus and we go to these high levels where my legs feel like they're going to fall off! True story. Then we go over to the yoga mats and do pushups and situps and leg lifts and planks and all of these crazy workouts and Hermana Morris is no push-over...she makes sure we all do every part of our workout! Which is good, getting in shape is good. Why does it have to be so hard haha hot dang! I love it though I'm super grateful for her. I tol her she needs to be a  personal trainer when she gets home from the mish.

Spanish is coming along well. We learned how to pray in spanish yesterday!! I said the closing prayer and I nailed it! Disclamer: I was looking at the board the whole time shhh don't tell my district :) But for real though, people in my district tell me I have spanish down and Elder Giliam told me the other day that he wished he could understand and speak spanish as well as I can, only to get a lecture from our teacher, Hermano Hammond, to not compare your progress to other people - to only compare your progress to yourself. I really liked that. My valley girl accent is going away I'm kinda sad! As I focus on how Hermano Hammond speaks and sounds, I try to speak like him and the accent comes along with that. Also, Heavenly Father probably knows that the Argentines wouldn't understand my spanish if I spoke with a valley girl accent. I'm digging the new accent though, I sound a little bit cool.

Okay let me tell you about my district. First of all, Hermano * is such a sweet spirit and he really lightens the mood when we're all serious. Yesterday night we were all trying to read the missionary handbook together our loud and Elder Evans was reading - all of the sudden Elder * completely and so loudly rips one hard core and we all looked around not knowing what to do and we just started busting up it was hilarious and Elder * just looked around the room and laughed inside of his hands hahaha. Good thing it didn't smell gross. And the rest of the time Elder Royster kept looking at Hermana Woolley and me and we couldn't even take it. Elder * is something else but we embrace his uniqueness!! We're all so different in my district but I think that's what brings us closer together. If we were all the same that would be so boring. My district is like my family out here. The Elders really watch out for us and make sure everything is going alright and they're all great. Hermana Tu'uakalau is so funny man. She is polynesian with a New Zealand accent and it is SO awesome. I just want her to talk all of the time because her accent is so intriguing! She always tells me and Hermana Woolley "I keep tellin you Hermanas, I'm not your average sistah" She is polynesian and she tells us thhat she might as well be a guy because she's big and strong haha and also, she tells me "Hermana Rome! You are your mothers daughter you seriously look like her twin" And she saw a picture of me, Kait and Mom and she's like, "how do i tell you all apart? Your like twins!" That made me feel good! I always take it as a huge compliment whenever someone tells me I look like my mom and sister :) Oh and a lot of people in my district call me Hermana Rome because they say it's hard to say my last name! And that's Rome with a spanish accent, like Ro-may. :) Oh another funny thing that happened on Thursday!! My district and I had to go to a meeting, but we got the church buildings mixed up and took a bus to this other church way far away and the buses only come every 30 minutes, so we were stuck and realized it was at the church building right by our Residence Halls. Woops. and we got to the class and the maestro said, "I've been preparing all week to teach you this lesson now we only have 15 minutes for it. First, let me send a text to someone who went out in Provo to look for you" So after that, we call ourselves the lost district. Clever, no? o si?

Oh and I got called to be the Senior companion out of my trio companionship!! Basically it sounds like a cool name but it's  not that different than a junior companion - I just write reports and give them to my Zone leaders, Elder Evans and Elder Giliam. I'll send pictures if I can...the older missionarie never taught us how to put pictures on here so we're all trying to figure it out.

The food is...okay haha definitely not gourmet in the weest campus. I remember Connor telling me that there were a ton of options, but in the West campus, since it's smaller, we only have a select amount of things to choose from. But i normally always have like, a salad and they always have vegetables and what not and the food isn't actually that bad. I think by the end of 6 weeks though, I'll be ready to try something else :)

My time's almost up, but I love you all!! Thank you for all of your support and love and mom thank you for the dear elder letters! I am going to reply to them later today after I do laundry and what not. Also, I want to point out if you do write dear elder letters, I will get them everyday but I can only reply to letters on my Pdays. I don't think I need anything out here..I have all my basic needs taken care of and I am totally content! So after reading this mom, don't worry! I'm not dead or sick or sad or anything like that so just know I'm safe and so so happy and don't worry :) I love you. and I love all of you guys!! Dear elder letters!! I love getting them so if you write them I'll be so so so os o sooooo grateful :) It's seriously like Christmas day on Pday. OH!! And don't worry how long your emails are. I'll have time to read them. Every pday Morning we go to the temple at 7 and then go printoff all of our emails and bring them home and read them before our hour of emailing starts so we can use it all to write people back. So, tell me all baout your lives I want to know everything!!! I love hearing how you are all doing and it keeps me going to know that the people I love are doing happy things. So write away!!! :)

I love you guys so much :)
Until next Saturday,
Hermana Romeril, o Hermana Rome :)

PS i can't remember if I told you but my Pdays in theMTC will always be on Saturdays!!:)

PS again, I can't remember what that Ps was for but I'm sure it was important. I'll tell you next week if I remember! :):)

Hasta Luego! Tienen un gran semana. :)

Destination: Provo MTC

Hermana Romeril left early this morning to report to the Provo MTC. She will be there for approximately 6 weeks before going out to Argentina. Here are some pictures of her at the airport before she left....

Entering the MTC

Our sweet Kelby made it to the MTC via Aunt Heidi Finklea Mobile :D  Heidi, a busy mommy of four, picked Hermana Romeril up at the airport and hung out with her all day until she entered the MTC.  Words cannot express how thankful we are that she was able to spend this time with you.  Heidi reported she was excited when she got out of the car to start this journey.  There where missionaries waiting there to greet her and take her luggage.  We know that she is being well taken care of :D

Setting Apart "A Holy Vessel"

Hermana Romeril was set apart today as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by President Wayne Minor.  She now calls herself "a holy vessel".  (Leave it to Kelby to come up with these funny sayings :D)  She will be leaving tomorrow to the Provo MTC.   Love you Kelbers!
